KALAMAZOO (WOOD-AM) - The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is investigating a series of shootings that led to two fatalities and multiple victims injured.
19-year-old Omarre Brishon Williams was shot last Thursday night around 9 p.m. near Bridge Street and Gilbert Avenue. The following Sunday, three shooting incidents were reported that included a drive-by shooting on Ada Street, leaving a 58-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man injured while a third victim, 33-year-old Marcus Leonard Pierce, died of his wounds.
