Ottawa Co. deputies searching for automobile thief

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is reminding local residents to lock up their vehicles and keep personal belongings on their person after a string of automobile thefts occurred in the past week.

Authorities believe the first incident occurred on May 6 when several purses and wallets containing cash, ID's, credit cards and more were stolen out of vehicles at a park in Holland Township. The following day, more vehicles were broken into at a park in Tallmadge Township with the same list of items being stolen.

The sheriff's office has released surveillance photos of a woman that is believed to be a prime suspect as well as the vehicle she was last seen driving in.
