Wyoming band booster charged with embezzlement

The president of the Wyoming High School Band Boosters was arrested and charged with embezzling funds.

Crystal Mulero was arraigned on Thursday on a charge of embezzling between $20,000 and $50,000.

The school district contacted police in February after finding outstanding invoices to vendors that worked with the boosters.

Wyoming Public Schools Superintendent Craig Hoekstra says no district employees were involved in the situation.
