Murder suspect turns self in, arraigned in Calhoun County

CALHOUN COUNTY, MI - Prosecutors say a man that is alleged to have struck and killed another man with a vehicle during an altercation in April has been arraigned.

Stanley Wilson, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene after police officers responded to a call about a fight at an apartment complex. Wilson was believed to have been involved in the fight as his death would be determined as an intentional act.

Orlando Billingsley, 44, turned himself in May 5 and was arraigned on charges of open murder, assault, reckless driving causing death and driving on a suspended license causing death, according to Calhoun County Prosecutor David Gilbert.

A second suspect was also arrested in connection to the incident: Tiffany Showers, 36, was charged with aiding and abetting, attempted murder and lying to police.
