A local nonprofit in Grand Rapids is preparing a special event to celebrate International Dance Day next weekend.
Organizers of the group are welcoming any and all residents to participate in a dance circle with music provided by Dede Alder's Women's Percussion Ensemble.
The hope is to encourage adults to get out of their comfort zone to enjoy time with community members and the outdoors.
