Caledonia schools asking for $61M supplemental bond

Caledonia Community Schools is asking residents to approve a supplemental bond proposal that will cover construction costs that were thrown off by inflation.

In 2020, residents approved an $88 million bond.

The district is now asking residents to approve the $61 million supplemental bond.

Superintendent Dedrick Martin says construction costs have increased dramatically.
