Construction will begin on Monday at Hoffmaster State Park.
Unit manager with the park, Melissa VanderVelde, says the park will close to all traffic at 8 a.m. Monday.
The $4.5 million project will close all day-use facilities through July 7 so roads and restrooms can be overhauled.
The second phase will close the campground at the park for the rest of the summer for a second sanitation station and universally accessible campgrounds to be added.
