GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Kent County commissioners are expected to vote today on whether to apply for a grant to purchase 160 acres around the Cannonsburg Ski Hill.
The proposed land purchase is expected to cost around $3.2 million.
The grant request would be for $2.2 million.
An application was denied last year for a $7.5 million dollar grant to buy the ski area outright.
