WYOMING (WOOD-AM) - Wyoming has parted ways with Brian Bennett, the city's fire chief.

Interim City Manager John McCarter's office says Bennett's last day was March 7.

"We don’t discuss personnel matters," McCarter told WOOD-TV.

"We wish Brian well, we wish him luck in his future career and in life generally speaking," McCarter said.

Deputy Public Safety Director Kevin Snyder has been put in charge of the city's fire bureau.
