Olivet College baseball player expected to live after getting shot in Ohio

OLIVET (WOOD-AM) - Authorities say an Olivet College baseball player is recovering after getting shot several times following a game in New Concord, Ohio.

The player has not been identified. It happened at Muskingum University.

A suspect is in custody. Police say the suspect graduated from Olivet College two years ago. Investigators say there's no indication the suspect knew the victim.

The team canceled its remaining games on its Ohio trip.
