Local food pantries are preparing for an increase in people needing assistance after extra pandemic funding ended for SNAP benefit recipients.
Other Way Ministries Food Pantry says donations are way down and inflation is increasing the cost to keep shelves stocked.
Director of Community resources Bethany Joseph says its going to get harder to help people.
The pantry has already reduced the amount of food that each person can receive so they can try to stretch their stock.
