Walker Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the incident happened around 2 p.m. on Maynard Avenue NW between Lake Michigan Drive and Leonard Street.
Officials are working to determine what occurred leading up to the shooting.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses reported a black car leaving the scene after shots were fired.
