The Grand Rapids Public Library is holding a 'rural life for urbanites' series.
The Gardening Experiences for Beginners is a three-class series that will teach individuals about foraging, canning and gardening in small spaces.
GRPL branch manager Bridget Ward says the event is geared toward helping with food access in smaller places.
Registration for the event is required and spaces are limited.
