An executive from United Bank is admitting he embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars.
John Figg pleaded guilty in court on Monday to federal charges of embezzlement by a bank employee and tax evasion.
Officials say Figg, a senior vice president at the local bank, embezzled $870,000 from 2014 to 2021.
His sentencing has not yet been scheduled.
