Murder charges filed after June shooting of two men in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Grand Rapids Police Chief Eric Winstrom says that he remains baffled over a shooting in June of last year resulted in the deaths of two men.

"It just doesn't make any sense," he said.

Deiontreay Craft's preliminary hearing was yesterday. The 25-year-old faces a list of charges, including two counts of murder, in connection with the incident on the southeast side that killed Tony Vaughn and Freddie Lusk.
