GRPD: Toddler hurt, cars exchanging gunfire crash

The Grand Rapids Police Department says a toddler is hurt after two cars exchanging gunfire on Monday afternoon crashed.

The incident happened near Fuller Avenue SE and Alexander Street SE around 2:40 p.m.

One of the vehicles crashed with another vehicle that was not involved while the other vehicle crashed into a tree.

Police say a toddler in the vehicle that was not involved, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No suspects have been taken into custody.
