John Ball Zoo will close for the season on November 20.
John Ball Zoo CEO Peter D'Arienzo says they will spend the winter updating the park, expanding education opportunities and caring for the animals.
New exhibits for next season will include a Pygmy hippo exhibition and an Eastern Box Turtle head-start program.
The zoo will reopen on March 24, 2023.
