The Kent County Board of Canvassers began their confirmation of the election on Thursday.
The process is used to ensure the numbers add up and our elections are secure, transparent and accurate.
The board is made up of two Republicans and two Democrats who are appointed by the county commission.
Kent County Clerk Lisa Posthumus Lyons says the canvass is designed to catch any issues that may have occurred.
