Kentwood Police say a 2-year-old is safe after a vehicle was stolen with the child inside.
The incident happened near 48th Street and Marlette Avenue around 8:10 a.m. Tuesday.
Dave Skinner, a bus driver for Kelloggsville Public Schools, was driving when he saw a couple waving their arms trying to stop traffic.
Skinner says he immediately got on the phone with 911 after the parents told him what had happened.
He also let other bus drivers in the area know.
Sue Figueroa, another bus driver, saw a child on the side of the road and immediately turned her bus around to get the child.
