1 The latest data on rising prices will be released this morning.
There could be a national railroad strike at the end of the week.
The shutdown would start Friday if rail companies and 57,000 workers can’t come to an agreement.
A strike would cause massive supply chain issues and stop most passenger travel. As a precaution, Amtrak canceled some long-distance trips that were supposed to start today.
2 The Justice Department has subpoenaed more than 30 people in President Trump's circle.
The subpoenas seek documents and in some cases testimony before a grand jury.
Meanwhile the special master is official.
Lawyers for the Justice Department and former president Donald Trump agreed on a candidate for special master, an official who will review material seized from Trump. A judge must approve the choice.
