The Fulton Street and Market Avenue construction project is taking longer than originally expected.
The downtown intersection closed in March.
Officials originally expected the new sewer line and pavement would be in place by the end of August.
However, the project is now expected to take until early November.
Grand Rapids City Engineer Tim Burkman says the project is very complex.
