Baby sent to hospital after potential drowning at Holland shelter

HOLLAND, Mich. - The Holland Department of Public Safety is investigation a possible drowning of a one-year-old at the Gateway Mission Women & Children's Center, a homeless shelter, in Holland Tuesday night.

Investigators say the infant was given a bath in a resident's room, and was taken to Helen DeVos Children's hospital. The one-year-old's condition is unknown.
