1 Michigan’s Primary election rocked the nation.
Freshman Congressman Peter Meijer was defeated by John Gibbs in Michigan’s 3rd district.
West Michigan mom Tudor Dixon will be the republican nominee who takes on Democrat Gretchen Whitmer in November.
And even county races sent shockwaves through the system as Ottawa impact candidates running for republican commission seats swept the races in all but one.
Arizona, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri and Washington held primary elections on Tuesday, with several key votes on their ballots. Kansas voters rejected an amendment that would have removed the right to an abortion from the state’s constitution.
2 Public health leaders want the Biden administration to declare a public health emergency to better tackle rising monkeypox cases. California, Illinois and New York state have declared public health emergencies, as has the World Health Organization
3 Nancy Pelosi has left Taiwan. The House Speaker said she wants to make it "unequivocally clear" that the US will not abandon Taiwan after meeting Taiwanese President
