MI Court of Claims: Abortion injunction doesn’t cover county prosecutors

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - On Monday, the Michigan Court of Claims has ruled that county prosecutors are allowed to make rulings in relation to the state's 1931 ban on abortion, not bound by an injunction put in place earlier this year.

The appeals judges stated that the county prosecutors were local officials, not state workers, there the Court of Claims does not have jurisdiction over them.
