MUSKEGON, Mich. After resuming recovery efforts Monday morning, the Muskegon Police Department said they were able to find the missing body of 19-year-old Michael Hooffstetter at Pere Marquette Beach.
Investigators say the teenager was swimming the beach with friends he was overcome by waves. The conditions were poor enough that beachgoers were unable to rescue him.
