Discrimination charges formally field against GRPD

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - On Monday, the Michigan Department of Civil Rights filed discrimination charges against the Grand Rapids Police Department, due to over 80 complaints dating back to 2019.

In a press conference on Monday, Executive Director John E. Johnson Jr. highlighted a couple of complaints that were filed, both instances, the MDCR says, showed discrimination and bias.
