The city of Muskegon has added two new installations as part of a public art initiative.
Judy Hayner, the Muskegon City Public Art Initiative project director, says public art plays a unique part in pride, image and sense of place for people.
A sculpture and a mural are the fifth and sixth projects completed by MCPAI.
The group has ten projects planned for the city.
A mural titled "What Defines Muskgeon" was painted on the wall of Trinity Health area in the downtown area.
A sculpture named "One Drop" was installed on the plaza between Shoreline Drive and the Vandyk Mortgage Convention Center.
