Charges filed against teen for attempted murder of GRPD officer

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Kent County Prosecutor Chris Becker said 17-year-old Arthur Darelle-Jamal Williams was arraigned on assault with intent to murder, discharge of a firearm from a vehicle and felony firearm charges for allegedly shooting at Grand Rapids Police Department officer on June 24.

Becker stated that Williams is being charged as an adult, and faces up to life in prison.
