IONIA, Mich. - Residents in Ionia County are being warned of a scam that claims the county is selling t-shirts from dispatch.
According to the Ionia County Central Dispatch, the message says, "Dear (your name here), Ionia County Central Dispatch E911 shirt 10$ OFF ready to order now (and a hyperlink listed, to click on to place an order).”
Dispatch says that if anyone gets any similar messages, they should delete the message and not clich on any links within the message.
