Program to help abuse survivors with housing

Safe Haven Ministries is working with community groups to provide housing for domestic abuse victims.

A.Y. A. Youth Collective and Madison Church are partnering with Safe Haven Ministries to create a program to provide flexible rent assistance, transitional housing and savings plans for families and individuals.

The program, Safe Transitions, is set to launch at the end of the summer.

Safe Haven Ministries says a competitive housing market makes finding an affordable place to life difficult for people who are fleeing human trafficking or an abusive partnership.
