MONTEREY TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Allegan County Sheriff's Office says a man was killed, with one woman injured, in a crash that happened near Wayland Sunday night near the intersection of 130th Avenue and 24th Street.
Investigators believe the motorcycle hit a drainage pipe after leaving the eastbound lanes of 130th Avenue. The woman was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries. Neither names have been released.
It is unknown what caused the motorcycle to leave the roadway, as the crash remains under investigation.
