GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Michigan Lottery's Excellence in Education program announced Kenowa Hills teacher Spencer Vanderheide is the 2022 recipient for Educator of the Year.
The award, which also grants Vanderheide $10,000, recognizes him for his creation of a new class focused on students' emotional intelligence and wellbeing.
