Police say a 12-year-old robbed a gas station in Hartford on Wednesday.
The incident happened at a Marathon gas station on Main Street around 4 p.m.
The 12-year-old walked in and demanded money.
Police say a worker asked if he was serious and he held up a gun and fired a round.
The child ran off but was soon caught.
