Ottawa County Animal Control says 27 cats were rescued from an alleged hoarding situation in Olive Township.
Officials received multiple tips about a shed housing multiple cats near Port Sheldon Road and 104th Avenue.
Deputies found a structure that was 8 feet by 5 feet and had 27 cats inside.
Officials say some of the cats were pregnant.
The animals were removed from the shed and have been treated by a veterinarian.
