Downtown GR shooting victim ID'd by police

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Police Department has confirmed that 24-year-old Naquie Malik Mitz was the person who was shot and killed in downtown Grand Rapids earlier this week.

The shooting, which has been ruled a homicide, happened Tuesday evening on Cherry Street between Commerce and Division Avenues.
