Vandalism at GR commissioners' homes

Grand Rapids Police are investigating after angry messages and bricks were left at city leaders' homes overnight.

GRPS says it is investigating multiple instances of vandalism that targeted City Commissioners' private residences.

Reports say messages were spray painted to the sidewalks and driveways and bricks were left with newspapers articles taped to them.

Investigators say they will review security camera footage and ask any witnesses to come forward.

City leaders have spoken out supporting protesting but saying they cannot condone the vandalism.
