Taco Borracho closing temporarily due to high demand

A Grand Rapids restaurant is temporarily closing three days after its grand opening with hopes that it will reopen soon.

Taco Borracho owner Angel Gonzalez says they had to turn away 900 people on Cinco de Mayo and were super busy the following two days.

Gonzalez says he didn't know if they would have 10 people or 1,000 interested in eating at the restaurant.

The restaurant started with 17 employees and lost several employees in the first few days.

Gonzalez says he is shutting the restaurant down to take time to hire more staff and streamline operations.
