GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation will see two big construction projects begin next Monday along I-196 in both Kent and Ottawa counties.
MDOT will be rebuilding seven miles of the highway between Byron Road and 32nd Avenue, while an interchange connection lane will be added between Chicago Drive and the 28th Street/Wilson Avenue exit.
