IONIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Sunday night, a man died after he was stabbed in a home just south of Ionia on Phillip Court.
A man called 911 around 7:25 p.m. to report that he stabbed another man in self-defense. The names of the people involved have yet to be released.
Deputies with the Ionia County Sheriff's Office did not release any additional information about what led up to the stabbing, but say the subject has been fully cooperative with investigators.
