Comstock Public Schools gave students a third snow day in a row on Friday, but for a different reason.
School officials made the announcement on Facebook at 6:57 a.m. saying the snow plowing company ran into problems and was not able to clear the lots in time.
School buses were already running when the decision was made according to the district.
Superintendent Jeff Thoenes says the plowing company assured the district the lots would be plowed however starting at 6:15 a.m. Friday they realized that was not the case.
