CENTREVILLE (WOOD-AM) - Sheriff's deputies are urging people to not hit the roads in Saint Joseph County unless it's an emergency.
A travel advisory has been issued due to the major winter storm. It will remain in effect through tomorrow morning.
Plows are gassed up and ready to go.
"We generally go after our primary roads first, then down to our local roads - the less-traveled roads - and the subdivisions are always last," John Lindsey, the managing director of the Saint Joseph County Road Commission, told WOOD-TV yesterday.
