Police say a pedestrian was hit by a car on Tuesday near Green Ridge Square in Walker.
The incident happened around 12:50 p.m.
A 20-year-old Rockford resident was driving north when two pedestrians attempted to cross Alpine midblock.
A 57-year-old pedestrian was hit causing serious injuries.
The crash was not related to speed or alcohol.
