GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Police Department announced that 29-year-old Cordney Dashwan Toliver is facing six charges in connection to the Oct. 22 death of Demarcus Javo Brown.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Highland Street and Cass Avenue, where Brown was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Toliver was already held in the Kent County Correctional Facility on unrelated charges, while police have not released any information about what led to the shooting.
