GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Bell-ringers are hitting the streets in the Grand Rapids metro area for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign again.
A kick-off event is scheduled for noon at the Kroc Center.
Their goal is $1.6 million.
Donations will go toward local food assistance, housing, substance abuse, youth and disaster programs offered by the Salvation Army.
