LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A 27-year-old Benton Harbor woman is facing multiple charges after leading authorities on a high-speed chase on I-94, with children in the car.
The driver did not stop when a Van Buren County Sheriff's Deputy tried to pull her over around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. She was arrested without incident after about 15 minutes when her car broke down, after reaching speeds up to 115 mph.
The children were turned over to family members, while she is being held at the Van Buren County Jail on several charges including fleeing and eluding, child endangerment and driving while license suspended.
