The city of Kalamazoo says it will shut down a homeless camp in two weeks due to health and safety concerns.
The camp is located at Ampersee Avenue near Hotop Avenue.
Officials say around 150 people are living at the camp now.
The Continuum of Care's Outreach Services Group and Shelter Providers Group are working to get residents into other housing or shelters before September 29 when the camp will be cleared out.
