The superintendent of Jenison Public Schools is urging parents to direct the mask argument to officials outside of the school district.
Jenison Public Schools Superintendent Brandon Graham says the mask mandate was put in place by the Ottawa County Health Department.
Graham says there is no debate over whether they will follow the orders starting tomorrow.
He says demonstrations at the schools aren't going to change the directive so parents need to contact the health department to voice their concerns.
