One of three people charged in connection to the death of a teenager at a Kalamazoo youth home is pleading to a lesser charge.
Heather McLogan is pleading no contest to third-degree child abuse.
She was charged with second-degree child abuse and involuntary manslaughter and the charges are expected to be dismissed at her sentencing.
The charges come after the death of 16-year-old Cornelius Fredericks in May 2020.
He was held down for almost eight minutes by staff members.
