LANSING (WOOD-AM) - Gov. Gretchen Whitmer was notified yesterday that the Justice Department will not open a civil rights investigation into coronavirus deaths at Michigan's nursing homes.
This despite widespread criticism among Republican lawmakers.
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, a Democrat, also turned down an investigation.
