Helen DeVos Children's Hospital posted to social media on Thursday afternoon asking for toy donations as they have seen an increase in hospitalizations.
The post had more than 3,500 shares and the hospital says they received over 100 phone calls about donations.
The hospital is asking for fidget spinners, Lego sets and other toys.
Tamara Potter with the Spectrum Health Foundation says every single toy is currently single use due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
